Hi, I’m Erin, a portrait photographer in Northern NJ.

What Growing Up in a Big Family Taught Me

I grew up as one of four girls, and my youngest sister is fifteen years younger than me. The age difference gave me a unique opportunity to experience much of her childhood from a different perspective, long before becoming a mom myself. Having my own children, Sloane and Max, made me even more aware of how quickly these years go by while you’re still in the middle of them.

It’s why I care so much about documenting families in Northern New Jersey in a way that feels honest to who they are right now. The personalities, the attachment, the little things that feel ordinary today, but years from now become the parts you miss the most.

It’s strange how clearly you remember certain moments, but how quickly the years seem to disappear.

The way I understood motherhood changed after becoming one

Having my own children made me much more aware of how heavy pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood can feel sometimes. With both of my pregnancies came different worries, and postpartum wasn’t always an easy experience for me either.
That’s something I carry with me into every session. Because I know you might be exhausted, worried about how you look, or simply carrying feelings you didn’t expect to have after becoming a mother.

Because of that, I try to pay attention beyond just the pictures. Throughout the entire experience, I want you to feel seen, cared for, and understood.

What it meant to them

"Erin is super kind and gave us some great tips as a first time mom. She was very patient and did an amazing job"

Supporting You Through Every Chapter

Whether you’re waiting for your baby, or are in the middle of busy family life.

A time filled with anticipation, when something small and unseen is already changing your world.

The tender, overwhelming blur of early days, when love, exhaustion, and wonder all exist at the same time.

The beautiful fullness of right now, when your days feel busy and loud and somehow deeply connected all at once.
