Cross Estate Gardens in Bernardsville NJ is a beautiful location for family portraits. As a Cross Estate Gardens Family Photographer I love the unique setting that this location brings to your photography session. There are so many beautiful spots to photograph in. During each season of the year, the garden provides a different look each time. There are many flowering plants, unique trees, and foliage that create a new feel when I’m there. This location does not require a permit which is a perk! The owners of the garden just ask that everyone is respectful of the space. There are often many photographers utilizing Cross Estate Gardens at a time but everyone is accommodating and nice. I prefer photographing here close to sunset, when the light is ideal 🙂

For the family below, they opted for an outdoor newborn session. Their son was about two months old, which can be a little old for a newborn session, but I work with each family to determine what will be best for them for scheduling their session 🙂
