As a Jersey City newborn photographer, I photograph newborn sessions in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and true to real life. These early days are short and often a blur — my goal is to document them honestly, in the space where your family is settling in and getting to know each other.

Everything is done in your home, using natural light and a calm, easygoing approach. No studio setups or complicated posing — just meaningful moments with your baby.

What a Lifestyle Newborn Session Is Like

Newborn sessions usually last about 1.5 to 2 hours, giving plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, and breaks whenever your baby needs them. There’s no pressure to rush or keep your baby asleep — the session flows at their pace.

I focus on a mix of close-up details and connection: tiny hands and feet, the way your baby curls into you, quiet moments in the nursery, and relaxed family portraits that don’t feel overly posed. I’ll guide you into good light and comfortable positions, but everything stays natural and easy.

Yessenia, Doug and their new baby Mason were a joy to photograph. The color palette they chose was clean and bright and focuses on the emotions of becoming a family of three. They welcomed their son Mason and he has the perfect little baby details. I love photographing their eye lashes, lips, and cute little rolls and facial expressions.
