Yessenia, Doug and their new baby Mason were a joy to photograph. The color palette they chose was clean and bright and focuses on the emotions of becoming a family of three. They welcomed their son Mason and he has the perfect little baby details. I love photographing their eye lashes, lips, and cute little rolls and facial expressions. My approach to newborn sessions:

I always start with the baby first, documenting their details and simple and natural poses. I photograph them on a white backdrop and use a posing pillow and supply neutral blankets and swaddles.

I then photograph the baby with mom and dad, both together and separately. Babies with their mom’s is my FAVORITE. These moments are so special.

I have perfected my approach over the years which makes newborn photos at home simple, easy, and special for my clients. Of course there is always room for feeding or a new diaper!
